I was thinking about music just yesterday, and how some songs have a special place in my heart.
If I were asked, I’d say one important song in my life is Britney Spears’ “Womanizer”. I associate this song the most with success. I remember it being the ONLY thing I played for a full 2 weeks in Melbourne, away from home for a conference. It was during this time that I won an award for an international design competition, feeling invincible.
The other song that will always be special to me is Katy Perry’s “Not Like the Movies”. This is the soundtrack to my love. It was dedicated to me by my boyfriend at a time when we were going to be separated by miles of oceans. It plays in my head whenever I miss him.
There are more songs that make up the soundtrack of my life but none warrant a detailed account for their being there.
